Starting Feb 1st, these two women are giving up primping, grooming, and shaving for 60 days in order to see exactly why they do these things. I find it interesting because on their list of things they will be giving up, the only one I would struggle with is not shaving. I’m fine with not doing my hair, not wearing make up, not wearing nice dresses or tight tops. But I would never be able to give up shaving. Why? Because I don’t shave for other people’s benefit. I shave for me. I do it because I like the result. And I dislike what happens when I don’t. It just annoys me. It genuinely has nothing to do with what other people think. I can look in the mirror without having done my hair or make up and still think I look good; but when I haven’t shaved, I don’t feel good. But like I said, that’s just for me.
That’s my line. That’s what I can’t go without.

The light just caught my glass at exactly the right angle to be beautiful. Just sat here staring at it for 10 minutes before I could even move.
